Before you do anything, write your name on the test!
D - conduct a memory Dump. Jot down important information you may forget like formulas, dates, memorized words, etc.
E - Examine the entire test and read directions carefully. Ask professor to explain any part of the directions you do not understand.
T - decide how much Time you should spend answering each item on the test. See how many items are on the test and how many points each item is worth. Spend the most time answering the items that are worth the most points.
E - begin by answering the items which are Easiest for you. Then answer as many of the remaining items as you can. Be sure to answer all the items, even if you have to guess, if there is not a penalty for wrong answers.
R - if you finish the test before time is up, Review your answers to make sure they are accurate and complete. Make sure you followed the directions completely.
