Academic Success Center

The Academic Success Center (ASC) is a collection of services and programs designed to support the university's learning goals, help UIndy students attain academic success, and foster student retention.

We realize that learning and becoming a successful student involves mastering a variety of academic skill sets.  The goal of the ASC is to provide UIndy students with the tools and support to develop these academic skills and to reach their potential.

We assist undergraduate students in becoming self-determined, motivated, and independent learners by providing opportunities for growth through the following services and programs:

  • Individualized Academic Assistance
  • Academic Success Program
  • Secrets of Success (SOS) Workshops
  • Peer Tutoring
  • Mission for Academic Progress (MAP)
  • Bridge Scholars Program
  • Services for Students with Disabilities
  • BUILD Program

The Academic Success Center shares space with the Office of Career Services and is located on the second floor of the Schwitzer Student Center.  The ASC is open Mondays through Fridays from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.  Schedules for individual services and programs are posted in the Center.
